1. About Aegis

Aegis Health ("Aegis", "the App") is a personal health assistant developed by App Solutions LLC. Aegis helps individuals understand their health data by analyzing lab results, biomarkers, and lifestyle information to provide personalized longevity insights.

2. Data You Authorize

When you connect a health data source, Aegis accesses only the data you explicitly authorize:

  • Apple HealthKit (iOS) — workout data, heart rate, HRV, sleep, steps, VO2 max, body composition, and clinical records.

  • Health Connect (Android) — exercise sessions, heart rate, steps, sleep, and other authorized health metrics.

  • Email (Lab PDFs) — laboratory results and clinical reports you forward to your Aegis account.

  • File uploads — health documents you upload directly.

  • Camera scans — barcode and product label photos for grocery product analysis.

You may revoke access at any time from within the App..

3. How Your Data Is Used

Your health and grocery data is used solely to provide insights and recommendations within your personal Aegis account. It is never sold, shared with advertisers, or disclosed to third parties without your consent. Data is processed on servers operated by App Solutions LLC and stored encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.

4. Data Security

All sensitive fields (including health records, OAuth tokens, and camera photos) are encrypted at rest and in transit using TLS 1.3. Aegis does not store your Apple HealthKit or Health Connect credentials — only the access tokens you authorize through the official OS frameworks.

5. Your Rights

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting support@appsolutionsllc.com. Upon deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. HIPAA

Aegis operates as a personal health record application under the HIPAA Personal Health Record exception. You direct all data flows to and from your account.

7. No Medical Advice

Aegis is a personal data analysis tool, not a medical device or substitute for professional medical advice. Do not use Aegis for diagnosis, treatment, or medical decisions. Always consult a healthcare provider for medical concerns.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
