Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the SideHustle mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
SideHustle is operated by App Solutions LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and App Solutions LLC.
2. Description of Service
SideHustle is a neighborhood services marketplace that connects people who need help with local tasks ("Customers") with service providers in their community ("Providers"). The App facilitates:
Posting jobs for various household and community tasks
Connecting Customers with local Providers
Communication between users via in-app messaging
Profile management for service providers
Important: SideHustle is a platform that connects users. We do not employ any Providers, nor do we guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered.
3. Eligibility
To use SideHustle, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age
Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
Provide accurate and complete registration information
Not have been previously banned from the App
4. User Accounts
4.1 Account Creation
You must create an account to use most features of the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4.2 Account Security
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
Use the App for any illegal purpose
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
Impersonate any person or entity
Interfere with the App's operation or security
Collect user information without consent
Use automated systems to access the App without permission
Circumvent any access restrictions or security measures
6. Service Provider Obligations
If you register as a Provider, you agree to:
Provide accurate information about your skills and services
Perform services professionally and in good faith
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Obtain any necessary licenses, permits, or insurance
Be solely responsible for your interactions with Customers
Handle payments directly with Customers (the App does not process service payments)
7. Customer Obligations
If you post jobs as a Customer, you agree to:
Provide accurate job descriptions and expectations
Treat Providers with respect
Pay Providers as agreed for completed services
Not engage in discriminatory practices
8. Credits and Payments
8.1 Credit System
SideHustle uses a credit system for certain features. Credits can be purchased through the App and are used to unlock job details, contact information, and other premium features.
8.2 In-App Purchases
All in-app purchases are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store. By making a purchase, you agree to their respective terms of service.
8.3 Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions automatically renew at $9.99/month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage subscriptions in your device's account settings:
iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → SideHustle
Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → SideHustle
8.4 Refunds
Refund requests for in-app purchases must be directed to Apple or Google through their respective app stores. We do not process refunds directly.
Note: Credits and subscription benefits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
9. Content and Intellectual Property
9.1 User Content
You retain ownership of content you post ("User Content"). By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your User Content in connection with the App.
9.2 App Content
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by App Solutions LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
10. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
11. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:
The quality, safety, or legality of services offered by Providers
The accuracy of user profiles or job listings
That the App will be uninterrupted or error-free
The reliability of any Provider or Customer
Important: You use the App at your own risk. We strongly recommend verifying Provider credentials and meeting in safe, public locations when possible.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, APP SOLUTIONS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
Any damages arising from user interactions or services performed
Any amount exceeding what you paid us in the past 12 months
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless App Solutions LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
Your use of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your interaction with other users
Services you provide or receive through the App
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination:
Your right to use the App immediately ceases
Unused credits may be forfeited
We may delete your account data
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
15. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
